EFCO is a manufacturer and supplier of valve test benches for liquid or gaseous test media.
Valves are used in technology and industry as switching, shut-off and safety elements in pipeline construction. They are used to direct liquid and gas flows in the desired direction, to shut them off completely or temporarily if necessary, or to open them when operating pressures are too high.
As valves are often exposed to very high loads in practice, they not only have to function perfectly, but are also subjected to high load tests before they are even used in practice.

- Valve test benches are used wherever shut-off and control valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, safety valves, globe, angle, two-way and three-way valves are to be tested.
- Valve test rigs thus fulfil important functions by checking and ensuring the operational safety and perfect functioning of the valve types mentioned.
- The valves to be tested are firmly clamped in valve test stands. The test of the respective valve is carried out by pressurizing the test specimen with an internal pressure prescribed for the test. Liquid or gaseous test media are used.
