Our company
The company EFCO Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in 1978 by Dipl.-Ing. Ranko Effenberger in Düren, Germany, who already had decades of experience and can be considered a pioneer in this industry. Since its foundation in 1978, EFCO has developed into a leading developer and manufacturer of repair and testing technology, both in terms of market share and technological progress. The products are sold in over 80 countries both through its own sales organisation and through competent distribution partners.
The construction of machines and devices for the machining, repair and testing of valves, flanges and pipelines of all kinds is EFCO's core competence.
All our products are developed by us and tested in hard use. The experience from the extensive use of many of our customers, flows into the product development. The long-term safeguarding of the production and development site is one of our top priorities. Only a few manufacturers can justifiably claim the globally recognised quality label "Made in Germany".

A competent and experienced management team secures the development and location of the successful family business in its second generation. From the very beginning, EFCO has specialised in the construction of precision machines and devices for repairing and machining sealing surfaces in and on valves, flanges and pipelines etc. and is characterised by innovative in-house developments. By consistently passing on information to our customers, the exchange mentality has developed into a precautionary repair culture, which in turn brings customers major economic savings.
